Harlow resident faces three charges of assault against woman in Bush Fair

A HARLOW resident has been charged with assaulting a woman as well as being in possession of an offensive weapon.
Vasile Costache, aged 49, of The Hides, Harlow was charged with the following at Chelmsford magistrates court.
On September 3rd, 2025 in Harlow assaulted a woman by beating her.
On September 4th, 2025 in Harlow assaulted a woman by beating her.
On September 5th, 2025 in Harlow assaulted a woman by beating her.
On September 5th, 2025 in Harlow, threatened another person, with a kitchen knife, in such a way that there was an immediate risk of serious physical harm to that person.
Costache was remanded on condition bail.
His next appearance is scheduled for February 20th, 2026 at Chelmsford magistrates court.
