Harlow MP Chris Vince continues to support PAH plans

THE proposed plans for a new hospital in Harlow have already been well documented.

There is the plan out at Junction 7a of the M11 and there is also a plan to “upgrade: what they have at Princess Alexandra and other estates.

Harlow MP Chris Vince has been in constant dialogue with chief executive Thom Lafferty and his team, so we caught up Mr Vince on Friday to just get a sense of where he stands on this issue.

When in opposition he was constantly criticising the then government for lack of action in providing the new hospital. Once elected, he supported the expected 9 year delay to the programme for the new hospital. He says the ' funding is in place', so why have they still not purchased the land. Our MP is talking utter rubbish, the worst Harlow MP I can remember.

That's good I feel reassured a ex teacher and local councillor has the ability to assess proposed plans for a new multi million pound development which is only 5 years behind schedule. He is out of his depth and has been an absolutely appalling MP to date.

He is so nervous when he is interviewed , he talks at 100 mph , that's a giveaway. Harlow will never get help from him. He's an amateur.

What about the cancelled elections Mr Vince. Do you not have an opinion ? This is important to your constituents, yet you say nothing!

Interesting point is that Chris Vince couldn't commit to a new hospital at Junction 7A. The tarted up PAH on the existing site looks just as likely. Eddie has a point about rapid speech. Vince does this when under pressure and trying to talk waffle.

With no actual movement on the much needed new Harlow hospital and it being kicked down the road for another decade, it's difficult to see what our mp is actually supporting? It appears he is just prattling on and virtue signalling for his own pr on matters that arent even happening.

Chris Vince is totally incompetent. How this town voted for him beggars belief. He is just Starmer's puppet without any originality. He has been totally silent on serious issues such as cancellation of local elections, curtailment of trial by jury, ID cards and the blocking of Andy Burnham. Probably awaiting instructions! Worst MP ever for Harlow.

What is the point of Harlow's MPs - past and present please? All talk, still talk (of a new hospital), and no doubt more talk in decades to come. Action speaks louder than words. How can this debacle still be ongoing? PAH is a hot mess through no fault of its own. It is not for for purpose. It is shameful that our intelligence continues to be insulted by words of 'support' by MPs for the hospital, but little else.
