Of course no mention of Harlow Wombles who have been doing this for some time to supplement the council cleaning teams who do a good job, also this press release could have mentioned or had a link to the website for reporting dumped rubbish.

Harlow would look it's best if developers stopped building on every bit of open land !!

I've signed up to litterpick because it is a chance to make the local environment nicer for everyone. Reform Party members hate this because they thrive on the despondency and negativity.

Harlow council should make sure the residents keep their fronts clean and tidy then there wouldn’t be a need for litter pickers ,

I've signed up for this doing Parsloe Road and Phelips Road. I'm sure others will too. Part of Harlow Action in the Community.

A community coming together is a good idea , the Wombles from Potter street have been doing a great job for years. Regarding the way people leave crap outside their houses, the council should employ a person to inspect areas to maintain standards.

We people in hotels, that can help out , plus the companies doing building work in including roads do not help, some concrete ect was dumped in the town park near Salisburys

Again there are not enough bins. I have seen from my kitchen window a certain person/persons who open the car door their sitting in & chuck their McDonald's food wrapper, bags, paper tissues & their milkshakes or coffee containers under the car. "Take your rubbish home & put in your own bin" simple!! People who do that are dragged up & don't seem to care. We use to have the wombles but now with health issues can't do it anymore. Besides what's the employees of HTS doing re maintenance!! Sitting in their vans again in corners of carparks yet collecting a wage end of each month. Think that tells it all, and you want the people of Harlow to do the litter picking. If everyone took their bloody rubbish home & put into the bins we all have then we wouldn't need ,"litter pickers" Maybe there should be a fine for the people who don't respect where they live & drop or walk pass litter!!
