Harlow MP Chris Vince welcomes Alton Towers u-turn over disability queuing system

HARLOW MP Chris Vince has welcomed the decision by the owners of Alton Towers to reverse a decision to tighten access to its disability queuing system at its theme parks following strong criticism from people with autism, ADHD and anxiety.
Mr Vince had written to Fiona Eastwood of Merlin Entertainment after several constituents had expressed their concerns.

Mr Vince said: “Thank you to all the Parents and Carers who contacted me about this issue.
“I am pleased to see that Merlin Entertainment has chosen to not go ahead with their amendments to Ride Access Pass requirements”.

Chris, no doubt you see this as a valid issue although you say yourself the system has been abused. However I have emailed you 3 times with positive ideas but haven't heard a dickiebird. So how do you select what "issues" to respond to . How about having an open "question time" event so we can ask you directly

Alton towers were right to ban this silly idea. If you have adhd, autism and anxiety, Alton towers is the last place you'd go. Thousands of people, loud noises, jostling to get to rides and scary rides would be almost impossible for such people to go to. That said Mr Vince, I take it you have dealt with all the problems in Harlow and that's why your attempting to now deal with problems in another town and in another county over 160 miles away?

Alright as long as they’re not Razed Roof eh. Was happy to be with while it helped him. Shame on this man. Absolutely no strength of character.

Unfortunately we live in a society where we love labelling our children. Where was ADHD autism and the rest 30/40 years ago. Schools like labelling children because they get better funding and parents like making excuses for their children. All this made up stuff is actually man made and pumped into children via food and drink.
