Women robbed on forecourt of BP garage on Southern Way

bpPOLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman was robbed of her bag on a petrol station forecourt in Harlow.

A woman in her 50s was walking back to her car at the BP garage in Southern Way at 9.30pm on Sunday, March 16, when she was approached by a man who grabbed at her bag.

Following a struggle the strap on the bag broke and the suspect ran off with it. The bag, which was green with a flower motif, contained a three-figure sum of cash, make up and a pair of opal earrings.

The suspect is described as white, wearing a black t-shirt and light blue jeans.
