FORMER Conservative MP and star of Strictly Come Dancing, Ann Widdicombe enthralled her audience at the Essex Book Festival on Saturday night.

Ms Widdicombe appeared in conversation with Robert Halfon as she discussed her book: “Strictly Ann”

The event was presented as a Q and A with a number of fascinating questions from who she thinks will win the next election? her political heroes and heroines and would she ever do “I’m A Celebrity”

Ms Widdicombe retained her sense of humour throughout the evening as well as continuing to show her political instinct.

Afterwards, she signed copies of her book and chatted to audience members.
