POLICE in Harlow are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information after the door of a property house in Spruce Hill was set alight in an arson attempt.

The Fire Service contacted police after they attended the property just before 2am this morning (September 15), however the fire was out on their arrival.

Damage has been caused to the door and no one was injured.

Police officers are making enquiries to find out a motive for the attack but want to hear from anyone who was in the area and saw suspicious activity or vehicles.
