THE Service’s Control teams and firefighters across Essex have dealt with over 70 incidents between 5pm-11pm tonight.

The majority of the calls have turned out to be false alarms including many bonfire burning under control. Crews have also have dealt with a number of small fires in the open, many of which have been recorded as deliberate.
