TRACES OF THE RESURRECTIONISTS AND THEIR PREY”

by Ruth Richardson
Saturday 1st February 2014

2.00pm St John’s Arts and Recreation Centre, Old Harlow

WHEN Ruth Richardson started researching & writing in this field in the 1970s, the subject of body-snatching was more or less hidden – very little had been published on the history of the phenomenon, and the topic was regarded dimly as more or less fictional. It was almost an unspoken matter.

But in Saturdays lecture she will show that although body-snatching is an old phenomenon, its traces can still be found in unexpected places, even today.

As usual we will have tea, coffee and a raffle. The member’s library will be there for you to browse, there will be free copies of old family history magazine’s from all counties to take away and don’t forget we have Essex records on our computer if you want anything looked up.

Everyone very welcome new friends and old!
