Apprenticeship event for young people

AS part of National Apprenticeships Week a special information event is taking place in Chelmsford.

This year National Apprenticeship Week will run between Monday 3rd March and Friday 7th March.

The apprenticeship information event, which is open to young people aged 16-19 (or up to 25 with special educational needs), will take place on Wednesday 5th March 2014 between 3pm and 7pm.

It will take place at Essex Youth Services Mid Hub, Chelmergate, 194-96 Moulsham Street, Chelmsford, CM2 0LG.

Young people will have the chance to meet with apprenticeship providers, to find out more about how the schemes work, and also about any current vacancies.

Staff from the Essex Youth Service and the Essex Employability Intervention Team will be on hand to provide further support and information on CV writing and other work related topics.

Those attending can find out about apprenticeships in Business Administration, Hospitality, Childcare, Hairdressing, Health & Social Care and Accountancy to name a few.
