THE MOOT House Players are set to perform Henrietta Branwell’s adaptation of the Oscar Wilde classic “The Importance of Being Earnest”.
A spokesperson said: “It’s a great little show, honed from the maximum four acts to a comfortable ninety minutes or so, but nonetheless retaining all the memorable bits and providing a pacey, atmospheric romp for your total enjoyment.
“The young blades and refined debutantes are enthusiastically played by Claire, Kerry, Dan and newcomer Harry. The imperious Lady Bracknell is a total delight – I won’t spoil the experience by naming names at this stage … just come along and discover!”
