IF THERE has been a criticism of some of the good Labour councillors that we interview over on our sister paper in Thurrock, then it is that they can be in danger of being indistinguishable from the local council civil servants that they are paid to keep an eye on.

That concern could not be levelled at deputy leader of Harlow Council, cllr Rod Truan who, in this interview with us, certainly promotes his record on housing in Harlow and his hopes for housing in Harlow on the front foot.
