Appeal set up for mother made homeless by Churchfield fire

Communities / Mon 24th Mar 2014 at 04:48pm

robynAN APPEAL has been set up to help the young mum, made homeless by a fire in Churchfield, get back on her feet.

Robyn Ellis Jeffrey and her baby were rescued on Thursday morning after fire swept through their council property.

Robyn and the rest of her family have been staying at a local hotel until the council can find her new accommodation. In the mean time, she must now rebuild her life after all her worldly goods were incinerated in the fire.

A Facebook page called “Please help Robyn Ellis Jeffrey, the girl who lost everything in a fire” was set up with appeals for clothes ranging from “women’s clothes from size 8 to 18, men clothing as well as clothes for a baby”.

There has also been a Go Fund me page set up that has raised close to £200.
