AN attack by Harlow MP, Robert Halfon on the UK Independence Party (UKIP) has backfired on him says the party. The anti-EU Party has organised a major day of action in Harlow on Saturday 29th March. UKIP members from all over the East of England will converge on Harlow for a mass leaflet distribution, starting at 10.30am, from the Latton Bush Centre in Southern Way.

They will be supported by UKIP’s East of England MEP, Stuart Agnew MEP, who will be taking to the streets himself with fellow European Election candidates, Patrick O’Flynn who is UKIP’s Communications Director and their Head of Policy, Tim Aker. Also in attendance and co-ordinating the day of action, will be the Party’s Regional Chairman, George Konstantinidis.

East of England spokesman, Stuart Gulleford said: “We are going to put our case to the people of Harlow on Saturday. Mr Halfon’s ill-considered tirade did him no credit and totally misrepresented our Party and its members. You know you have won the argument when the other side starts hurling insults. UKIP members, who are from all parties and none, are democrats who believe in a Britain that governs itself through an elected Government and Parliament at Westminster. The real extremists are those who support government of this country via diktats from unelected European Commissioners.”

The Party is preparing special leaflets for the day of action and will distribute them widely across the town.

Yes we're coming - and in numbers! I find it staggering that a man like Mr. Halfon would use a disgusting word like "cleansing" to describe anything or anyone. It's no wonder his own party are trying to distance themselves from his comments! You reap what you sow Rob!

Hope you all have a great day, wish I could be there.
