THE message from Harlow Labour at the weekend was that they are out campaigning in Harlow 365 days a year and not just for a sunny Saturday in March.

The message broadcast across social media may well have been directed at UKIP who were having a “Day of Action” in Harlow.

It is remarkable that since 2008, when Harlow only had six Labour councillors, they have grown to be a considerable force, illustrated, when they took the council in 2012.

Their activities varied from a Diversity Event in the Marker Square to, what is now becoming a traditional feature, the Harlow Labour doorstep around the town.
