A HARLOW netball club will compete in the National Premier League play-offs after winning their league.

TEGATE have won the East Regional Club’s League (RCL).

Teams who go on to win division one of the two RCL leagues, gain automatic entry into the National Premier League play-offs.

Tegate and the winning teams from each region will meet the bottom three teams from the Premiership division three in a play-off weekend on May 3-4, deciding who will go into the National League and who will return to the regional league.

The teams from National Premier League Three who will compete are the bottom three: Leamington (Warwickshire), Sussex Thunder (Hailsham) and Norfolk United (Norwich).

All the play-offs will take place at Loughborough.

Tegate won 15 of their 18 RCL matches this term, suffering just three losses.

They ended their campaign with a 53-45 victory over one of their closest rivals, Billericay, at Mark Hall Sportscentre on March 23.
