One act play festival set for Old Harlow

Communities / Tue 22nd Apr 2014 at 10:43am

THE EVER-popular Harlow Theatre Company’s One Act Play Festival is set for this week.

One Act Play Festival 2014
24th-26th April at 8pm @ The Victoria Hall Theatre

Walk the Walk’ by Andy Prangnell

Directed by Tony Saxby

Brian and Jules a middle aged couple have agreed to take on their Burglar on a “face your victim” trial from the local authority with a view to helping “Vincent” a career criminal see the error of his ways. This is much to the annoyance of their neighbour Bill.

During the course of the play we find Brian has his patience tested as things seem to be disappearing and Vincent ends up being a rather different character than first appears. Will the harmless experiment go dramatically wrong?

‘Neither Here Nor There’ by Olwyn Wymark

Directed by Bernard Moule

The play has elements of ritual and the playing of mind games, with lots of twists and turns to keep the audience guessing. It has a cast of nine women and includes a whip, chains, a gun and a candle. Enough said?
