Tories out on campaign trail after Easter break

A NUMBER OF Conservative candidates were out in Harlow Town Centre on Tuesday morning as the campaigning for the local and european elections began in earnest.

A number of local and european candidates were up on Broad walk speaking to members of the public as they returned to work after the easter break.

MEPs David Campbell Bannerman and Geoffrey Van Orden joined prospective candidate Cambridge councillor, Tom Hunt as well as Harlow councillors Muriel Jolles and Simon Carter.

Cllr Hunt said: “It was a good morning in Harlow. I got the opportunity to discuss the in-out referendum with Harlow residents as well as a number of other issues.
