Harlow councillor suffers heart attack

A POPULAR Harlow councillor has suffered a heart attack.
YH understands that cllr Nick Churchill was taken ill on Saturday and is currently in a stable condition in Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Conservative councillor for Sumners and Kingsmoor, Nick Churchill has been very busy over the last month as he is up for re-election on Thursday.
A short statement by Conservative leader, cllr Andrew Johnson was issued on social media.
Apart from his council work, cllr Churchill is well known for his support for Pets Corner and a host of other organisations around the town.
He received best wishes from councillors across the political divide.
Update: Cllr Churchill was transferred to Basildon Hospital’s specialist unit and was then allowed home, where he is recuperating.
