Last years Gibberd Gallery ‘Open’ exhibition winner has returned with a large new body of work to create a fantastic exhibition of oil paintings, inspired by scenes and objects around her.

A local artist to Harlow, Jackie Chakravarti describes creating as “quite liberating, to feel that anything in front of me could become a painting”.

YH caught up with Jackie to discuss her prolific method of working and the satisfaction she gains from this.
