Old Harvey Centre has a farm……

News / Fri 30th May 2014 am31 08:14am

ON Friday 30 May, The Harvey Centre is all set for some animal antics as it hosts its own spring farm (11am to 4pm). Shoppers of all ages can pet and feed a range of cute and cuddly farmyard animals, including rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks and a Shetland pony.

There will also be the chance to come face-to-face with some slightly more exotic (and not so cuddly) animals including a skunk, an African pygmy hedgehog, snakes, lizards, tortoises and even a tarantula!

Children will be able to learn all about the animals, including their habitats and feeding habits – whilst a free face painter will also be on hand to transform them into their favourite animal.

Little ones will also have the opportunity to sign up to the newly launched Harvey Centre Kids’ Club – where members get exclusive freebies and discounts, plus their very own membership card.
