POPULAR Potter Street lollipop lady, Jane Chivrall was presented with a Harlow Civic Award at the annual meeting of Harlow Council.

Jane was at the centre of the campaign to retain her role as a lollipop lady after Essex County Council threatened to withdraw funding.

Jane is an extremely popular resident and so was surprised and delighted to receive the award.
