Man in court over Westfield burglary

A Cambridgeshire man is due to appear in court today (Monday) after he was charged with burgling an elderly woman’s home in Harlow.
The break-in happened at a house on Westfield at 11am on Monday, February 17 when a man stole £50 and a bank book. He has been allowed entry to the house after stating that he wanted to prune the homeowner’s garden trees.
On Friday, June 27, Shaun Holland was arrested in The Stow and later charged with one count of burglary. The 28-year-old gardener from Sackville Close in Cambridge has been detained in police custody prior to his appearance at Chelmsford Magistrates Court on Monday, June 30.
