ANDREW OSAGIE put in a respectable and improved performance in an 800 metre race in Monaco.

The Harlow AC athlete may have come eighth in 1.45.18 but it was in the company of a remarkable race which Nijel Amos won in 1.42.45 and another four athletes also came in under 1.43.

The race will now set up Osagie as he heads to Glasgow for the Commonwealth Games.
