HARLOW MP, Robert Halfon has been promoted to become a key advisor to the chancellor of the exchequer, George Osborne.

The promotion as a private parliamentary secretary is a vindication of many of Mr Halfon’s campaigns that have resonated with the public both in Harlow and the rest of the country.

But there is also the added dimension that the hard working MP is also popular in the narrow corridors of Westminster as well as the broad walks of Harlow.

YH caught up with Mr Halfon in the town centre to discuss the promotion.
