Roadworks at night on M11 and M25

THE M11’s northbound link road to the clockwise and anti-clockwise M25 at junction six will be closed between 10pm to 5.30am, for two nights from tomorrow (Tuesday, July 29). A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via junction seven.

The southbound link road to the anti-clockwise M25 will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, for two nights from Thursday (July 31). Work on Friday night will start at 11pm and again a signed diversion route will be in place via the M25 junction 28.

On the M25 at junction 18 in Herts, carriageway maintenance means the clockwise exit and exit slip roads will be closed between 10pm and 5am, for five nights from Thursday (July 31). Work on Friday night will start at 11pm. Diversion will be in place via junction 20 for the exit slip road and via junction 17 for the entry slip road.

Elsewhere on the roads network in Herts and Essex, there will be major improvement work on the M25, between junctions 25 and 27. Narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit are in place on both carriageways with a free recovery service operating 24 hours a day.

There will be additional lane and slip road closures required.

The anti-clockwise entry slip road at junction 26 will be closed between 10pm and 5.30am, for two nights from Thursday (July 31). Work on Friday night will start at 11pm. Vehicles will be diverted via junction 28.

The clockwise entry slip road at junction 26 will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, for two nights from Saturday (August 2) with a diversion via junction 25.

On the M25 junction 30 roundabout in Essex, carriageway resurfacing will close the southern section of the roundabout between 10pm and 5am, on Saturday, August 2. A diversion will be in place via the southbound link road to junction 31.

On the M25 at junction 31 in Essex the clockwise entry slip road will be closed between 9pm and 5.30am, for five nights from tonight (Monday, July 28). Work on Friday will start at 9.30pm and finish at 6pm. A diversion will be in place via the A1306 and A13.

On the A282 (M25) at the Dartford to Thurrock Crossing, the following closures will be in place, with a fully signed diversion in place for oversized vehicles for northbound east tunnel closures:

• Monday, July 28 (9pm to 5.30am): northbound east tunnel closure;
• Tuesday, July 29 (9pm to 5.30am): northbound east tunnel closure;
• Wednesday, July 30 (9pm to 5.30am): northbound east tunnel closure;
• Thursday, July 31 (9pm to 5.30am): northbound east tunnel closure;
• Friday, August 1 (9pm to 6am): northbound west tunnel closure;
• Saturday, August 2 (9pm to 6am): northbound west tunnel closure;
• Sunday, August 3 (9pm to 5.30am): northbound east tunnel closure;

The QEII Bridge will have three (of four) lanes closed overnight, between 9pm and 5.30am, for five nights from tonight (Monday, July 28). Work on Friday will be between 9.30pm and 6am.
