And so it continues. Another illegal traveller encampment has arrived in Harlow.
This time, they have encamped on the field near to Second Avenue at Tillwicks Road.
Bush Fair councillor, Ian Beckett has pledged to take immediate action.
Cllr Beckett said: “I am aware of the latest travellers encampment near the Phoenix Pub in Bush Fair ward. Harlow’s Community Safety team and the Police have been notified and will be working together to move the travellers on as soon as possible.
“Despite any suggestion to the contrary Harlow Council is working hard to find a lasting solution to these occurrences and to protect the green opens spaces that are a distinctive feature of our town.
“We are a diverse and tolerant town but I fully understand that for many these recurring unauthorised encampments are unacceptable and this is a situation that must and will be resolved”.
Have the TUC sent a welcoming committee?
Harlow council need to get a grip of this ridiculous situation Labour councillors could help by not encouraging these people.
