Ryman Div One North

Harlow Town 2 v 1 Chatham

AN injury time winner by Alex Read was enough for Harlow Town to win all three points at the Harlow Arena.

Harlow went behind in the 10th minute when Mason Bloomfield scrambled the ball home after poor defending from the Hawks defence.

Harlow’s defence has looked brittle at times and this game shone a light on many of those defensive frailties.

Alex Read came in to the game in the second half and was unlucky not to score in the 57th minute, when his ball hit the underside of the bar.

Midfielder, David Cowley equalised in the 62nd minute with a neat strike from ten yards.

The game could have gone either way but it was Harlow who grabbed all the points when Alex Read nodded in from close range.

HARLOW TN: Thompson, Glasgow, Eadie, Toner, Cuthbert, Simms, Small, Cowley, Read (Jones 90), Martin (Lorenzani 90), Stamp. Subs not used: Nwanze, Norton, Driscoll
