Film: Public’s help needed over Longbanks burglaries

COPSLongbanks CCTV investigating two burglaries in Harlow have released CCTV footage of a man they want to trace.

On July 31, 2014, between 3.55pm and 5pm, suspects forced their way into two homes in Harlow while the occupants were inside.

Between 3.55pm and 4pm, a man forced his way in through the back door of a house on Burley Hill and made off empty handed after being disturbed by the occupant.

At 5pm, two men knocked at the front door of a house on Long Banks before one of them forced their way in, punched a man in the face and grabbed a 24 carat gold pendant from around the victim’s neck. The two suspects then fled in a black BMW.

The victim suffered a cut to his nose and swollen lip.

Anyone who recognises the man shown in the CCTV footage is asked to contact Dc Gavin Morris on 101. Information can also be passed to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
