Arrests after “road rage” incident in Eastwick

TWO women and a man received stab wounds after a road rage incident on the A414 near Harlow.

Between 11.30am and 11.55am two cars, a Ford Fiesta and a grey BMW, were being driven along the road before coming to stop just short of the Eastwick roundabout.

Two people from each of the vehicles were then involved in an altercation which resulted in two women and a man suffering stab wounds. They were taken to hospital and have since been released.

Following the incident the male and female occupants of the BMW got back in their vehicle and drove off towards Sawbridgeworth.

The male and female occupants of the Ford Fiesta left the scene in their vehicle travelling towards Harlow town centre and the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Three people have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.

They are:

A 59-year-old man from Waltham Abbey who is on police bail until January 28
A 30-year-old man from Harlow who is on police bail until January 29
A 25-year-old woman from Harlow who is on police bail until January 29.
