Masked gang rob Tesco’s in Edinburgh Way

ESSEX Police were called to Tesco in Edinburgh Way, in Harlow, shortly after 1.05am today following reports that a number of men had entered the store and threatened staff before stealing several mobile phones.
The suspects are believed to have forced a door to an associated Costa coffee shop to get in before threatening staff.
A large group of males were reported to be involved, who had arrived in a Ford van. They were all wearing tracksuit bottoms, dark hooded tops with scarves over their faces and gloves.
Following a search of the area a Ford van was found in the area of Ladyshot in Harlow and an 18-year-old man from London was arrested nearby on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
A second person, aged 15, from Harlow, was also arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary at an address in the town this morning.
They have both been taken to Harlow Police Station for questioning.
