THE Chords were, along with The Jam & Secret Affair, one of the biggest bands of the late 1970’s Mod Revival scene. Their debut single “Now it’s Gone” was released in 1979 followed up by “Maybe Tomorrow” which got the band their first appearance on Top of the Pops.

Their debut album “So Far Away” reached number 55 in the national charts in 1980. The Chords broke up the following year in 1981.

The Chords UK feature original band member Chris Pope on guitar and vocals along with Mic Stoner, Kenny Cooper & Sandy Michie. The band perform all of the hits by The Chords along with new material from their new album “Take on Life”
