SCHOOLS across the Burnt Mill Academy Trust took part in Red Nose Day fundraising activities. Cooks Spinney, Freshwaters, Little Parndon and Roydon primaries held a ‘Red out’ no uniform day, with students wearing as much red as possible, in addition to the traditional red nose and head boppers.

Burnt Mill Academy students held a cake sale and the Key Stage 3 students held a talent show. Organised and hosted by the Radio Piccadilly team, the show was open to year 7 & 8 students to show off any talents they have. A real variety show, there were singers, dancers, guitar and ukulele players, some pianists, an impressionist who made a convincing Arnold Schwarzenegger and Barack Obama, a contortionist and a football skills duo all displaying their talent.

Money is still coming in but at time of writing the cross-trust figure is well over £1000
