NET Academies Trust are delighted to share the outcomes of three hugely positive Ofsted inspections that took place at its member schools in recent months. Abbotsweld Primary Academy, Longwood Primary Academy and Latton Green Primary Academy have all been inspected and rated ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ across all criteria, with inspectors highlighting management, personal development, behaviour and welfare as particular strengths.
Inspectors also highlighted the effectiveness of leadership and management, commenting in the Longwood Primary Academy report that: “Leaders exude a great sense of moral purpose for the pupils of this school to flourish academically and socially. They have successfully driven dramatic improvement over the last two years.”
All of the reports also recognise the huge improvements to pupil behaviour, and praise the skill and commitment of staff. The Abbotsweld Primary Academy report comments that “a consistent approach by all staff means that pupils always know what is expected of them.”
The role that NET Academies Trust is praised throughout all reports, with the Longwood Primary Academy report affirming: “Since the multi-academy trust took over the school there has been rapid improvement in pupils’ achievement and behaviour”.
NET’s Chief Executive Jo Coton was full of praise for her schools: “I would like to congratulate all staff, pupils and parents at these three exceptional academies. Everyone has worked tirelessly to ensure our young people are provided with the very best opportunities while incorporating the vision and values of NET into everything we do. We are looking forward to continuing to support all our schools on their journey towards becoming outstanding, and to adding more members to our cluster for the benefit of all involved.”
