Joshua Jolles

FORMER Great Parndon Ward Councillor Joshua Jolles passed away on Tuesday morning (13 February 2018).

Joshua’s funeral was held at Parndon Wood Cemetery on Thursday (15 February 2018). Joining Joshua’s family and friends were councillors and Council staff.

Joshua was both a Conservative and Independent Councillor serving the Great Parndon Ward for many years. He was Vice-Chair of the Council from 2011 to 2012. He also held the position of Chair of the Council’s Housing Committee.

The Council’s thoughts are with Joshua’s family and friends at this time.

Below, is an interview we conducted with cllr Jolles in 2013. Joshua was a good friend to all at YourHarlow. He greatly encouraged us when we started.

His wife Muriel died in 2017.

They are both greatly missed.

I unfortunately never had the privilege of meeting Cllr Jolles, but from what I've read and the from the interview attached to this article, he was clearly a dedicated and hard working member of the Council who cared about Harlow and its community. My condolences to the friends and family of the late Cllr Jolles.
