Man jailed for violent assault in Templefields

A MAN has been jailed for a violent assault in Templefields.

Joshua Shenton, aged 27, of Templefields House, Harlow was found guilty of the following at Chelmsford magistrates court.

On 18/05/2018 at Harlow assaulted a woman by beating her.

The court heard that this was a sustained attack on a vulnerable person, where he used threatening and controlling behaviour including the use of a knife to make threats.

On 18/05/2018 at Harlow without lawful excuse, damaged a bathroom door at Templefield House, Harlow to the value of unknown belonging to another intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged.

Shenton was sent to prison for six months and fined £250.00
