Town Centre: Teenager charged with stabbing man in chest

ESSEX Police has charged a boy with grievous bodily harm and possession of a knife following an incident in Harlow.
The 17-year-old from Walthamstow was arrested on Wednesday, August 15, and appeared at Chelmsford Youth Court today, Friday, August 17.
He has remanded and he is due to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on Friday, September 14.
A police spokesperson said: “We received reports that a man was stabbed in the chest in an underpass between Post Office Walk and Amhurst Lodge at about 7.35pm on Tuesday, August 7. The victim was taken to hospital for his injuries and has since been discharged.
“A 16-year-old boy from Harlow who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and he was released without charge.”
