PARENTS and children are getting another opportunity to find out about Harlow’s newest secondary school this weekend.
Sir Frederick Gibberd College is being opened by BMAT to provide a solution to the critical shortage of school places in the town by 2019.
All students who attend the next open event on Saturday September 29 at 10am at Burnt Mill Academy will receive a free reading book to highlight the school’s focus on reading.
More than 130 prospective students and parents attended the first open event recently to hear from head of school Dee Conlon about the curriculum and ethos of the new school and to find out about the application process.
For more information or to apply for a place in Year 7 before the October 31 deadline, contact the school on 01279 307244 or email [email protected]
