FRIDAY January 18 is the fourth annual Essex Dementia Day, a day where organisations showcase work they are doing to support those living with dementia and offer information, advice and support to individuals, their family and friends and anyone interested in learning more about how they can help.

A number of events are taking place across the county.

Essex residents are encouraged to attend the events; learn more about dementia and share their experiences on social media using #essexdementiaday and #letstalkdementia

Organisations holding their own events are encouraged to publicise them using the same #essexdementiaday and #letstalkdementia.

YH plans to interview a number of people involved with dementia care in Harlow.
