THE ESSEX Chamber of Commerce has closed its office in Harlow.

The office was opened to great fanfare by Harlow MP Robert Halfon in the University College Harlow part of Harlow College.

It was expected that the chamber would then play a large role in Harlow and for a while it seemed to be the case with seminars across the town.

However, they seemed to be somewhat low key over the past few months.

YH spoke to a representative at their Colchester office who confirmed that the office was now just a “satellite” office.
