A NEW networking is event is set to be launched in Harlow next week as a way to boost the small business community in the town.
Harlow Link is a new networking concept that will cater specifically to small and medium sized businesses as well as social enterprises in the town. Looking to connect businesses that would otherwise not have a place to meet, it is hoped that by providing a relaxed and friendly environment on a drop-in basis the new event will attract local firms that may otherwise not be inclined to attend formal networking groups.
Chris Chapman, Business Advisor at the Harlow Enterprise Hub, who is organising the event said:
“Business networking has so many benefits for both business owners and the local economy that we felt this was a sorely needed event for town. There’s currently not a regular drop-in networking session in Harlow and given the vibrant business community we have locally that seemed like such a missed opportunity, so we decided to do something about it.”
The first Harlow Link event will be held at the Harlow Enterprise Hub on Edinburgh Way on Thursday 20th June at 10am. It is free to attend.
