A HARLOW bowler successfully completed a 24-hour bowlathon for charity.

Neil Lanario started bowling at 11am on Friday July 19th at the Connaught Bowling Club in Chingford and bowled through the night to complete his marathon effort at 11am on Saturday.

Neil had to endure not only fatigue but also variable weather conditions as the heavens opened during the night.

But it was all worth it in the end as he raised over £1500 for cancer research.
