The Hyperlocal Bible: General Election 2019: Use of social media by candidates

AS part of our General Election 2019 diary, we interviewed the Labour candidate for Hertford and Stortford, Chris Vince.
We had just interviewed him as part of his election campaign. Afterwards, as we strolled down the River Start towpath, we discussed the use of social media by political candidates.
What a self - opinionated man. I always thought that he was a school - teacher, but he speaks of "us politicians". So, has he just jumped into Harlow politics to use it as a stepping stone for his grandiose intentions ?
Ah Micky and I really thought you were warming to me after the pond cleaning comment :-)
To be fair, i think this is a good way of speaking to candidates. It wasn't just the usual the Tories have done this and are victimising everyone or Labour have done that and it's going to bankrupt us. Nice to hear someone's approach rather than it just be negative and all about following national policies. Also refreshing to hear he was honest about that it's mostly voted on from a national agenda in some areas. Would prefer more of these to see how the people we're voting for actually act, rather than the usual bluster we're subjected to.
