PUPILS at Little Parndon Primary Academy, in Harlow, are venturing from country to country as part of their Culture Vultures project.
Having taken virtual visits to Australia, New Zealand and Africa, their most recent trip saw them indulge in India and Pakistan.
Pupils took part in a musical workshop to learn about bhangra drumming, sampled a themed menu and invited their parents to join them with mehndi body art after school.
Kirstie Clark, acting deputy headteacher, said: “We are taking our children on a trip around the world to celebrate different religions and cultures. We are a very diverse school and so as part of our work on British values, we are building respect and understanding of various cultures and religions.”
The school’s next trip will be to Romania.
