Dear Editor,

EACH year on International Workers Memorial Day we reflect on those who lost their lives at work through accident or occupational disease.

This year’s terrible sacrifice being made by the emergency services and other essential workers should not be forgotten in the future.

Consequently, may I suggest that a memorial tree be planted adjacent to the War Memorial in the Town Park.
