THIS is a message from the organisers of The Bluebell Appeal
WE are spreading the message that the bluebell is the nations choice of flower; a way to show our support, appreciation and thanks to all the NHS staff and volunteers. We are encouraging everyone to get creative and make their bluebells and there are two badges available to purchase with all proceeds going to The Bluebell Appeal. The shop links are:
Momentum is gradually starting to build with photographers, artists and designers coming on board and kindly donating percentages from their sales of bluebell items to the appeal. School children are creating bluebells for class projects and having their faces painted with bluebells – joining in and spreading the campaign.
Bluebells of course have the obvious colour connection with the NHS and they feel so apt as the flowers are flooding our UK woodlands.
The Bluebell flower symbolises hope which is such a strong message in these difficult times. Other associations are gratitude and everlasting love which represents the feelings of the nation to all our dedicated NHS frontline heros.
Social media pages are up and running under the user name @BluebellAppeal on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. They are updated regularly including posts from our followers of their wonderful bluebell photos or creative handiwork using the hashtag #BluebellAppealfortheNHS
