Harlow man makes pin badges for frontline workers

Charity / Sun 24th May 2020 at 10:43am

A HARLOW man has been making pin badges for front line workers.

Shaun Rayner told YH: “I wanted to tell you all about an initiative I have been working on over the past few weeks which has now come to fruition.

I tasked my daughter Charlotte to draw me something as a representation for solidarity for all and every frontline key worker. I turned this design into a pin badge which I have been selling to raise money which will be donated to charity.

And hence The Frontline Heroes was born.

We have lived in Church Langley for 21 years but Charlotte moved into her new property in Harlow in February just before the lockdown.

On top of this she just completed her training and passed out into The Met in Jan 2020 following in the footsteps of her elder Brother Chris who is also in the Met (pic taken in January).

“I am selling these badges at just £2.50 with all money raised being used to either purchase more product to sell or donate.

Since Friday last I have now sent out 500 badges and am currently working in collaboration with Robert Halfon MP with a limited edition badge I have produced.

Pin badges can be ordered on a dedicated email [email protected] and there is a Facebook and Twitter page.
