A PLANNING application to change a house from being a small house of multiple occupation to a large one has been submitted to Harlow Council.
The application is for 11 Harefield in Harlow.
It is for a: “Change of use from a C4 small House of Multiple Occupation (HMO) to an 8 person large HMO Sui Generis use. Together with the garage conversion and front elevation alterations.
There has been a number of objections.
Example of objection: “According to drawing 276.02, ground floor shows a garage which has already had building work done to it.
“It also has plans for 3 parking spaces. What do they intend to do with the other five tenants who potentially have vehicles?
“And also the impact on parking when friends visit? Considering this is a cul-de-sac, road space is limited anyway with a kerb to kerb just under 4m once vehicles start to park on the pathway.
