Movember: Harlow men to play Call of Duty for 24 hours

Charity / Tue 10th Nov 2020 at 07:52am

A HARLOW man and his colleagues are raising money for November by playing video game Call of Duty for 24 hours.

Jordan Maxwell said: ” We don’t want to dwell too much on what this year has been but life has been flat, frustrating and occasionally full of fear. There are men across the world struggling with mental health and suffering with cancer.

1 in 8 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer. The most common cancer for younger men is testicular. 3 out of 4 suicides are Men.

To make a real change to these figures, we’ve got to stick together. Support one of us, and you support us all.

“Together with nine of my friends, we have chosen to run a live Twitch stream on Saturday 14th November at 6am-2:20am in order to raise money for Movember. Together the 10 of us will play Call Of Duty: Warzone for 20 hours 20 minutes straight.

“We will split into three teams with the task of getting at least 20 wins throughout the day. For every win the boys get, we will all donate £2 each, but we need your help. So jump into the stream and say hello and donate for a good cause.

Everyone has somebody they can reach out to. Whether it be a catch up, a gesture, a quick call or a text to let them know that someone is there for them, the difference that can make to someone in need is crucial.
