THE HARLOW Rugby Club Under 15s have been set a running and fund raising challenge.

Their coach, Ian Rundall is raising money for Haven House Children’s Hospice in February by running 100Km.

They thought they would support him by running it with him in a bid to raise even more money .

Here is why Ian is doing it

Ian said:

“In 2020 my school friend Nicola and her husband Harry became parents to Rudy. As you can see he’s a very handsome chap! Rudy was born with an extremely rare condition called Multiple Congential Anomalies & Seizures’ or ‘MCAHS1’. There are only 50 known cases WORLDWIDE and the condition was only discovered in 2014.

My words couldn’t do justice to the effort that Rudys parents have put into raising awareness of their sons’ condition and I urge you to visit their Instagram page @rudysw0rld to follow the families journey and how they live their life with the rare condition their first born child has.

I’m am running 100km in February for Haven House Children’s Hospice. This is where Rudy can benefit from physio, therapeutic classes and respite when required.

Please follow the link to sponsor my challenge and donate to Haven House so they can continue to provide these priceless services to Rudy and countless other children who rely on them.
